What will you Do / Delegate / Delete in 2022?

The Triple D


What will you Do, Delegate, & Delete so you can focus on what is worth your Time/Energy/Talent? 


Start with Delete:

what areas are not creating value? Does not line up with what you are trying to accomplish?  Examples: products, people, locations, partners, habits, processes procedures, systems…


Delegate - What are you doing that is not worth your time energy and talent but still lines up with what you are trying to accomplish? Who can be trained to do these things?  Examples: accounting, bookkeeping, sales, service, recruiting, leadership, Marketing, HR, Payroll…


Do - Now you have identified what needs to be deleted, who can take things off your plate that still aligns with your goals but not worth your time/energy/talent.  Now it's time to identify and put a plan in place to Do.  Be honest with yourself.  Up to you alone are you capable of these things?  In September of 2021 at Brainshare San-Antonio, TX Billy Williams of www.inspireanation.org spoke of three ways leaders should handle what they are responsible for:  Delegate, Automate, and have someone hold you accountable for the rest.  What can you automate?  Who can you hold you accountable to the rest?


Take a moment to write out your Do/Delegate/Delete list.
